Small Vase - Dreams

White Stoneware | Layered Glaze | Gold Luster Rim
3 inch opening / 4.25 inches tall
Each bud vase is thrown on the wheel using a standard white stoneware clay. Two glazes are layered all over, giving subtle variations to the design. To finish the piece, I added gold luster to the rim. This is added in liquid form after the piece is glazed and sent back into the kiln where it turns from red to lustrous gold.
Wash by hand to prevent dulling of gold luster. Dishwasher safe but not recommended long term.
